Omega has refreshed its iconic Seamaster 300 collection, followed by another significant debut – the Seamaster Diver 300M Black Black. The watchmaker designed this watch as a modern, monochromatic take on the original Seamaster Diver 300M black ceramic model debuted in 2018.
The Seamaster Diver 300M Black Black is one of the trendiest releases from Omega in recent years. Interestingly, this double-black dive watch boosted the desire for monochromatic luxury timepieces. Let’s today explore this major monochromatic dive-watch release of Omega.

Omega introduced the new Seamaster Diver with a black ceramic case measuring 43.5mm by 14.47mm. However, the watch case appears similar to the original Seamaster Diver 300 profile and curves.
However, the ceramic black bezel is laser ablated using a polished diving scale that offers a little texture and increased legibility. Furthermore, the watchmaker filled the 12-hour dot marker with anthracite Super-LumiNova.
The case flaunts contrasting brushed and polished finishing and comes with a black rubber strap with a ceramic buckle in black. The new Omega Seamaster Diver 300 also exhibits a monochromatic, signature Seamaster dial crafted from black ceramic and an anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
Moreover, the dial features an inner textured wave pattern, an outer-curved minute ring and applied anthracite Super-LumiNova PVD numerals. Two lume-filled and partially skeletonised hands and a lollipop seconds hand tell the time. However, like the numerals, Omega also made the hands out of PVD.
Omega equipped the new Seamaster Diver 300 Black Black with a sapphire exhibition case-back. And what secures the case-back is the brand’s patented ‘NAIAD LOCK’ system that ensures the watch’s water-resistant ability up to 300m. Now:
The New Omega Seamaster Diver 300M runs on the in-house Co-Axial Calibre 8806 Master Chronometer movement. This chronometer-certified automatic movement offers a power reserve of 55hours and about 25,200vph frequency. It also provides resistance to magnetic fields up to 15,000gauss.
Moreover, the Co-Axial Calibre 8806 movement features black-tone barrels, screws, balance wheels, arabesque Geneva waves and rhodium-plated bridges and rotor. So the new Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Black Black comes with a price tag of about £6,287 and will be available in July 2021 on Omega websites and authorised boutiques.
